Immediate opening: sheet metal welder (Lagos State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₦125,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
