Great opportunity: we are hiring a general labourer in Union County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a residential housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage What we are looking for: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience.
