Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Smith County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
