Turning centre operator wanted in East Renfrewshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,950 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
