Machinist wanted in Bradley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Bradley County, Tennessee. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
