Argon welder wanted in Hendricks County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Hendricks County, Indiana. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Rotating shifts.
