Fire and safety officer — Borsari

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Borsari, Yobe State. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements On a typical shift you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
