Great opportunity: semi-automatic welder (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Unicoi County, Tennessee. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. You will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
