Steel fixer wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Washington County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
