Now hiring: overlocker operator (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Goodhue County, Minnesota. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
