Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings The role involves: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Meals and transport allowance provided.
