Structural MIG welder — Providence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Providence County, Rhode Island. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
