Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Grainger County, Tennessee. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day-to-day duties: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
