Automotive refinish painter • Montgomery County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Montgomery County, New York. You will work in a spray booth. Day-to-day duties: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Full-time with occasional weekends.
