We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Yazoo County, Mississippi. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading 1+ years on the tools preferred.
