Immediate opening: slinger signaller (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Butts County, Georgia. You will work at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
