Finishing presser — Dunn County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Dunn County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Part-time with flexible hours. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
