Quality assurance assistant — Grundy County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Grundy County, Iowa. You will work in an automotive parts factory. The role involves segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. Requirements: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
