We are recruiting: gas metal arc welder (Nebraska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Deuel County, Nebraska. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime Full-time, day shift.
