Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Clinton County, New York. The job is at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Your main tasks: • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly You should have: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Awareness of workshop health and safety Rotating shifts.
