Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Arkansas County, Arkansas. The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
