Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Hanover County, Virginia. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Part-time with flexible hours.
