Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Shasta County, California. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
