Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
