Sand plant operator • Montgomery County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Montgomery County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
