Gtaw welder wanted in Union County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Union County, Indiana. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $11,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
