Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Washington County, Indiana. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Part-time with flexible hours.
