Day to day you will polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades Full-time with occasional weekends.
