Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Prince William County, Virginia. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. You should have: • Willing to travel between sites • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Day-to-day duties: • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks Rotating shifts.
