Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Louisa County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level The role involves assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
