Industrial sewing operator • Amherst County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work at a busy garment factory. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
