Heavy equipment operator • Kearney County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Kearney County, Nebraska. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Day to day you will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Six days a week, one day off.
