Now hiring: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Greene County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Your main tasks: • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
