Now hiring: we are hiring a natural stone fabricator in Highland, Scotland. You will be based at a marble and granite workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs On a typical shift you will measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound.
