Refrigeration field service technician • Montgomery County, Mississippi

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Montgomery County, Mississippi. The job is in an AC and refrigeration showroom. On the job you will handle: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution Requirements: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
