Urgent requirement: rebar worker (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Clinton County, New York. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
