Now hiring: stainless steel welder (Kwara State)

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Oyun, Kwara State. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. You will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE 1+ years on the tools preferred.
