Great opportunity: we are hiring an event security steward in Box Butte County, Nebraska. The job is at a hotel entrance. Ideal candidate: • Ex-servicemen preferred • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid On a typical shift you will man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
