Argon arc welder — Wyoming County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Wyoming County, New York. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
