Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Buncombe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Buncombe County, North Carolina. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
