Tiling assistant wanted in Macon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Macon County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy tiling site. You will check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
