Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Gove County, Kansas. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
