Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Pike County, Ohio. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches.
