Bar bender and fixer • Ward County, North Dakota

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ward County, North Dakota. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
