Immediate opening: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Bedford County, Virginia. The job is on an industrial coating line. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Day to day you will record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
