Now hiring: uPVC welding machine operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Davidson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will take site measurements of openings before fabrication; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Overtime paid at a premium rate.
