Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Day to day you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch.
