We are recruiting: powder coating technician (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Scott County, Indiana. You will be based in a metal finishing workshop. The role involves inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape. What we are looking for: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
