Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 4+ years on the tools preferred.
