We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Cass County, Michigan. The role involves score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
